Meridian Mural
I was commissioned to design two murals for a new affordable housing development in Sunnyvale, CA. This was my first time designing artwork purely in the digital realm to be printed on vinyl. The larger mural is in the Community Room, and takes the Bay location as it's visual starting point. The second mural is at the entry to the parking garage and aims to bring light and natural forms into the space. Both pieces are digital collages, the "material" that the shapes are cut from being sections of my physical painting surfaces, hence the familiar textures.
Thanks to Emeryville-based branding company Argus for inviting me to contribute to this beautifully designed project.

Since the design process was all digital, the possible compositions were endless. Here are a few of the designs considered for the Community Room.
